The ethnobotanical doctor was born in his native community of Puerto Nuevo, in the department of Ucayali river in Peru (central east rainforest in Amazon).
This small community of the Shipibo-Conibo ethnic group and its original inhabitants were inspired to immerse themselves in the spiritual world of the plant.
His participation in sacred ceremonies was carried out together with his grandparents, they taught him to establish synchronization between his spirit and the teacher’s plants.
At age 16, he became involved in the traditional medicine of the indigenous peoples of the Amazon.
